Matlab Runtime 9.0

Matlab Runtime is a set of shared libraries from MathWorks that lets you run applications and components compiled from MATLAB without installing MATLAB itself. It provides the execution environment for programs built with MATLAB Compiler, MATLAB Compiler SDK, and Simulink Compiler, including standalone executables, Excel add-ins, Java and .NET assemblies, and C/C++ shared libraries. MATLAB Runtime is free to download and redistribute with your compiled applications, and end users do not need a MATLAB license to run them.

Key points:

• Supports running compiled MATLAB and Simulink applications on Windows, macOS, and Linux (use the runtime version that matches the MATLAB release used to compile).
• Enables graphics, UI, and numerical libraries required by compiled apps.
• Works with MATLAB Web App Server to host and run compiled web apps on a server.
• Not a substitute for MATLAB: it does not provide the MATLAB desktop, editor, or interactive execution of .m files.
